It is difficult to find a stallion that is as interesting genetically as Babylone.
His sire is the widely renowned Baloubet du Rouet. A greatness in the sport and in breeding. With Rodrigo Pessoa he won Olympic gold and three World Cups in a row. His offspring meanwhile are not much inferior to him, think of Chaman, Bubalu VDL, Sydney un Prince and Palloubet d' Hallong.
On the dam's side we find the stallion Muscaris D'Ariel. This son of Diamant de Semilly is bred out of a mare by Laudanum xx. And then we know that the jumping qualities are fine. It should therefore come as no surprise that Muscaris D'Ariel was successful at 1.60 level and that his offspring are doing very well in the showjumping ring. Babylone's grandmother was active at 1.30 level and descends from Holstein great Carolus II and the Belgian mare Topaline. With Carolus II we find another stallion in the pedigree of Babylone who jumped 1.60. Topaline, however, should not go unmentioned. She was active at 1.50 level and is the sister of the approved stallions and 1.60 horses Jus de Pomme, Quintus, Richebourg and Tresor d'Opaline. A very special family!
Babylone has a fine character and thinks along with his rider in the course. His canter is good and he shows a lot of reflexes, carefulness and power on the jump. For you without any doubt an interesting thinking stallion thanks to the above and his exceptional family!
